Olympia Administrators have spent multiple days this summer learning alongside LeRoy Adminstrators to enhance our leadership skills. Thank you to LeRoy for the invitation for collaboration and to Dr. Scott Kuffel for sharing his expertise.

OHS Girls Swimming Preseason workouts: (T, W, Th) July 26, 27, 28 and August 2, 3, 4 from 8:00-9:30am at OHS Practices will include both dryland and in pool workouts. Come in workout clothes and tennis shoes and bring swim attire. Swim season officially begins Aug. 8th. Practices will be Mon.-Sat that week from 7:30-9:30am. Beginning Aug. 15, practices will be 3:30-5:30pm. *Swimmers must be registered for swimming on the 8to18 site and have a current physical on file in the office in order to participate beginning Aug. 8. Olympia Middle School baseball tryouts will be August 1st-3rd at the high school fields. 6th and 7th grade at 4:00-5:30, 8th graders at 5:30-7:00. Participants will need to bring a glove and bat (if they have a bat), wear a tshirt, baseball pants, baseball hat and molded cleats. This past week, a team of OMS educators traveled to Washington, D.C., to the National Schools to Watch Conference to celebrate their redesignation as a School to Watch. Additionally, Mr. Jones, Mrs. Jones, and Mr. Steve had the honor of presenting at the conference.

Announcing Fall Activity Alumni Nights for the Olympia 50th Celebration - please put these dates on your calendar. We plan to recognize all alumni attending as well as specific groups during these events. August 16 - Boys Golf August 22 - Girls Golf August 25 - Boys Soccer August 30 - Girls Swimming Sept. 2 -We will recognize the first graduating class of OHS - the class of 1973 - at our first home football game.
