The Olympia Girls Track Team showed up at the IHSA 2A Sectionals in Pontiac last night—and what a night it was!
The track was on fire as our athletes racked up personal records and punched their tickets to STATE!
Our 4x100 relay team even broke the school record with an incredible time of 49.46!

Varsity baseball won in walk off fashion vs Delavan last night 2-1. Walker(2H, RBI), B. Tackett(2H, GW RBI). Walker(6IP, 2H, 0ER, 10K's). Varsity travels to Lexington tonight at 4:30.
Calling all Spartans! We want to pack the park at IVC on Friday 5/16 at 6pm, as the Varsity Lady Spartans Soccer team takes on Peoria Christian in round 1 of regional play. Come be apart of history as the girls look to win the first ever regional game for OHS soccer. Come be loud and cheer these girls onto a win and a chance to play for a regional title.

Girls Softball Senior Night
This past Friday evening the Olympia High School girls track team wrapped up their regular season on a high note at the Lady Spartans Classic in St. Joseph! Personal records were flying across the board — a strong finish heading into postseason!
PR’s of the night:
Discus-Kennedi throwing over 76 feet
Long jump- Annaston jumping 4.76 and getting 6th place over all
4x100 relay- Mya, Charlee, Maydson and Gabby running a 51:52
3200- Sidney Beavers huge 30 sec PR running 14:21
100m dash- Annaston Piro 13.65, Noelia Rojo 17.04
4x200 relay- Annaston, Mya, Madyson and Gabby running a 1:52.5
400m dash- Noelia Rojo and Lauryn Snider
300m hurdles its the 2nd year that Mya ran this event at this meet only and she killed it, getting a 2 second PR from last year her time 56.43
200m dash-Noelia 36.6 & Gabby 27.35
4x400 relay- Charlee, Mira, Amelia and Emma huge 3 second drop of 4:13.9 they are barely over state time
Huge shout out to Noelia for PR’ing in all 3 of her events, it's so much fun to see the growth!
Great finishes:
4x800 relay finished 2nd with another great run well under state qualifying
Charlee finishing 6th place overall in the 100m dash

Varsity baseball loses at #3 ranked Monticello tonight 5-0. Walker(2.1IP, 0ER). Martin(3.2IP, 1ER in varsity debut). Spartans are at home vs PORTA Monday, 4:30 at Ron Smith Field.
Varsity baseball gets a 13-0 win over Prairie Central tonight. Hohulin(3H). Birky, Alford(4RBI), Walker(2RBI) with two hits apiece. Bauer(RBI), Sloan(RBI) and B. Tackett with a hit apiece. B. Tackett(5IP, 0ER, 5K's). Spartans travel to #3 ranked Monticello tomorrow at 4:00.
Varsity Softball with their third straight Sangamo conference championship after defeating PORTA 8-1 at Olympia. Khloe Chenoweth with 2 doubles and a home run, driving in 4 runs. Eva Ortiz also three hits, two doubles and 2 RBIs. Brooklyn Komnick, Morgan Huffington, Lily Gordon, and Kennedy Finchum with two hits apiece. Gaby Frye with her 14th win of the season allowing one unearned run and striking out six. The Lady Spartans finish 8-1 in conference play and 15-7-1 overall.
