Congratulations to Jackson Castleman on his decision to continue his academic and football career at Augustana College in Rock Island Illinois. He plans to major in elementary education. Augustana is a NCAA DIII school that plays in the CCIW.

Spartans finish off the regular season with a home non conference win over Clinton. 60 to 55. Ethan Davis and Hunter Berges with 18 point each.

Lane Miller pins his opponent in his first round match. He will wrestle again tonight at approximately 6:30pm.

Wesly Litwiller falls in his 1st round match at State. He will wrestle again tomorrow at 11:00am.

Congratulations to Alexis Finchum who has signed with Illinois Central College in East Peoria to play softball. She plans to major in physical therapy or athletic training.

Olympia West Elem School, 302 N School St, Minier, is open as a warming center. If your power is out and you need a warm, safe place and some food, you are welcome to come.

HS Boys BB that was cancelled today has been rescheduled for Mon. Feb. 4th, including the mini cheer clinic performance. HS Boys BB that was cancelled for tomorrow will be played at St. Joe on Feb. 6th. 8th grade regional boys BB will be played Fri. Feb. 1st at home.

Due to weather conditions, all Olympia schools will start one hour later than normal Monday, January 28, 2019.

8-3A Boys Basketball Regional Tournament starts today.

Due to cold temperatures all Olympia schools will start one hour later than normal Friday, Jan. 25.

Tonight is Senior Night for Girls' Basketball. St. Thomas More does not have enough players for a JV game, so we will play the varsity game at 6:00pm. Come out and support our Lady Spartans and senior Mary Grace Cleinmark.

Due to the possibility of icy roadways, Olympia schools will dismiss early Wed., Jan. 23. OHS and OMS dismiss at noon; elementary schools dismiss at 12:30. All programs and activities are cancelled the rest of the day.
