Inaugural Olympia to Peoria St. Jude Run Was A Huge Success!

On Saturday July 18th, 73 runners from the inaugural Olympia to Peoria St. Jude Run team conducted virtual runs to support the patients and families of St. Jude.  The Olympia St. Jude team presented a check to St. Jude for $61,000, which is one of the highest totals ever for a first-year run team.  The team would like to thank all of the Olympia Community that stood behind them and help them reach this level.  The cost to run the St. Jude Blood Donor Center for one month is $60,000, so thank you to all that donated to the runners this year.  Your donations are making a difference for the families of St. Jude.  Thanks to the support and generosity of others, the patients and families of St. Jude never see a bill for services.

The team would also like to thank the businesses that sponsored them this year.  The sponsors of the Olympia St. Jude Run team this year were Minier Lanes, Hopedale Medical Complex, O&G Consulting, Danvers Industrial Youth 4-H Club, Gas Jockey Graphics, Avantis, Wayne Litwiller Excavating, Tremont Oil Company, Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home, Orthopedic and Shoulder Care, Josten's, Covington Services, DePew and Dehn, Nutrien Ag Solutions, Sheaffer Services, One Source, McLean County Foot and Ankle, Cybernautic, Anderson Electric, Hill Radio, and Signs of Success.
