I hope that you and your family are enjoying summer. I want to take a moment to introduce myself and share with you my excitement about leading OMS! I am an Olympia graduate (2001) who has a wonderful wife, Hannah. We have two beautiful girls; Olivia (5) and Sadie (1). Prior to beginning at OMS, I was the Principal at Oly North for six years. Being a building leader in the same school in which I was a student is an awesome responsibility for which I am extremely grateful. I will work tirelessly to ensure our students are empowered and enjoy learning.
Opening Day will be here before you know it! The first day of student attendance is August 16. Please register your child through Skyward Family Access prior to August 1. This helps ensure class rosters and sizes are balanced and accurate. All 6th Grade parents should be reminded that their child will need an updated physical by October 15th in order to attend school.
If you know families new to the District, New Student Registration will be at OMS on August 6 (8:00a.m.-noon) and August 7 (2:00p.m.-6:00p.m.). Parents should bring proof of residence and a copy of their child’s birth certificate to help us start the registration process.
